The Action Hex is a Hexagon that is shown on all pages within your website and symbolizes all the the sections that can be edited.  The Action Hex will only appear if you are logged into the system as an Administrator or a Content Manager.

To Locate the Acton Hex on a Page:

1 - Access the Control Panel.  For more information on the Control Panel, click here.

2 - Select the Page that will be edited.

3 - Locate the ActionHex link located in the top right side of the Control Panel.

4 - After clicking on the ActionHex link, notice all of the hexagon icons appear on the page.  This indicates the areas of your website page that can be edited.  Click on the Action Hex for options.

At any time, you may hide the Hexagon icons by clicking on the ActionHex link in the Control Panel.

5 - The Action Hex will also appear when navigating within your page.  As you mouse over an area that can be modified, you will notice that Action Hex will appear.  Click on the Action Hex for options.


To Locate the Action Hex on a Layout:

1 - Access the Control Panel.  For more information on the Control Panel, click here.

2 - Locate the System section at the bottom of the Control Panel.

3 - Locate the Layout you would like to edit and click on the Layout Code icon.

4 - Locate the ActionHex link located in the top right side of the Control Panel.

5 - After clicking on the ActionHex link, notice all of the Hexagon icons appear on the page.  This indicates all of the areas that can be edited.  Click on the Action Hex for options.

At any time, you may hide the Hexagon icons by clicking on the ActionHex link in the Control Panel.

6 - The Action Hex will also appear when navigating within your Layout.  As you mouse over an area that can be modified, you will notice that Action Hex will appear.  Click on the Action Hex for options.
